The Saga continues...

After seeing my first video about him that shows screenshots of the racist comments and messages he's harassing people with on youtube and putting those in contrast to his claims of getting his accounts taken down with no reason my favourite little troll "Ogith" decided the next logical step would be to fake a "death threat" against himself.

How do I know the death threat is a fake? There's several little details that make it highly unlikely he's telling the truth.

First: The chosen language in the "death threat" is much closer to Ogith's usual way of speaking than it is to the way of speaking the falsely accused sender ever has used.

Second: When you look closely at the mouse cursor in Ogith's "death threat" video you'll notice that - unlike in his previous and later videos - it isn't the standard windows mouse cursor you can see here but a typical "graphic software user interface" one. So clearly, unlike his other videos that show his youtube backend, he did NOT record this from a browser, but from the program which he used to create the false message in the first place.

Third: At the time he claims he received the "death threat" he had the user who supposedly sent it blocked. It was literally impossible for him to receive ANY message from that user.

Fourth: Last, but not least the user who Ogith claims has sent him this "death threat" is me, and I simply know I never sent it. :)

So, of course, I decided to send him a reply to his video.

Style-wise I choose to stick with the starship-view-screen-look of the first video, but added the element of a dialogue between "me and the ship's computer". And I gave the computer a first voice as well, so the whole thing would be a little more interesting. And because I like to toy around with stuff. ;).

I created the voice using a pretty basic freeware vocoder named "Zerius" (google for it) that needs two input files - one with the voice and one with the sound to modulate - and then will present you with a file that contains the vocoded voice in return.

As base file I used a sound from the banks of my Wavestation.

But I still stuck with the written output from computer as well - simply because what comes out of the vocoder isn't that recognisable at some points. It was clear that I had not found THE voice for my computer yet...
