Cassini is one one of those tracks that rather build on sounds than on really complex melodies. I played around with some nice metallic tunes on the Wavestation and added really strong phasing effects, controlled via wheel... The bass that can be heard right at the beginning of the track was done the same way; actually, if you listen closely, you’ll notice that the bass and the metal-sounds are modulated in one go...
