I found your page by chance, and I must say it was a pleasure listen your music, I´ve downloaded some of your themes, and I made a CD'r with them, your music is one of the my high pleasures, the electronic music, I'm a fan of the some of countryman your's, Klaus Schulze, Peter Bauman, Tangerine Dream, Jane and the best for me, the dad's of electronic music, Kraftwerk, I have all of his LP´s in the Brain label.
I really enjoy your music, thank you for sharing your music freely to the internauts.

Gerade war ich damit beschäftigt, eine alte Cassette von Dir zu digitasisieren (So far ... / Stellar Systems 1), da kam mir der Gedanke, doch 'mal nach Deiner Homepage zu schauen.
Schön zu wissen, dass ich hier auch noch den einen oder anderen Track herunterladen kann, Deine Musik ist nämlich gerade für meine Arbeit (Übersetzen von SF-Texten) ausserordentlich gut geeignet!

Habe dir ja schon so geantwortet - freut mich, daß sich von damals noch Leute an mich erinnern und natürlich freut es mich *riesig*, daß noch alte Tapes von mir existieren. :) Ist ja klasse. :)
Hmhm... Ja, doch, für SciFi eignet es sich ziemlich gut, denke ich, da SciFi irgendwie auch immer bei mir im Hinterkopf rummschwirrte, wenn ich Musik gemacht habe. Bei den Stellar Systems, z.b., kommen die Namen der Stücke alle von einer Spacemaster Sternenkarte. XD
Darüber hi9naus sind wir, glaube ich, auch ganz gut drauf "trainiert" worden (über die Jahre, von Hollywood und anderen SciFimachern) Mit Science Fiction immer entweder Orchester oder eben Elektronik zu verbinden...
Das mit dem Orchester geht imho irgendwie alles auf Holsts "Planeten" Suite zurück - wenn man sich die einmal anhört, dann weiß man worauf sich alle großen SciFi-Orchester Stützen, egal ob in Star Wars, Star Trek oder wo auch sonst immer... Holst hat da die Regeln festgelegt - wie hat ein Sternenfeld zu "klingen", was ist der Sound von bösen Invasoren etc... etc...
Die Elektronik fan dann sobald sie erst einmal *da* war selbstverständlich auch sofort Verwendung. Ist offensichtlich naheliegend, warum - der Synthesizer ist ein immer noch sehr neues Instrument, und natürlich war es klar, daß man seine futuristischen Klänge dann auch in SciFisoundtracks benutzt hat.
Das geht von der elektriscchen singenden Säge (auch bekannt als Theremin) für fliegende Untertassen bis hin zu Christopher Franke's fantastischer Babylon 5 Musik, in der er perfekt beides zusammensetzt - die Berliner Philharmoniker und sein Elektronikstudio - man hört schon, daß er früher mal bei Tangerine Dream war. :)
